Rainbow aura quartz is created in a vacuum chamber by exposing naturally formed quartz crystals with natural gold vapour via "vapour deposition". The gold atoms then fuse to the crystal's surface, which gives the crystal a funkadelic, metallic sheen. Yas pachamama & Yay science! 🌸
